Mental Health Nursing Undergraduate Program

Northern Health Mental Health Division provides clinical exposure and education to nursing students in a variety of areas across all of Northern Health’s Mental Health campuses. We strive to provide a safe and supportive clinical environment aligned with the Best Practice Clinical Learning Environment (BPCLE) Framework.

Clinical placements within the Mental Health Program are supported through a Preceptorship model. All staff who work with students are encouraged to complete training and education for student supervision.

For further program details, please refer to the Student Orientation Guide.
