Northern Health Foundation
What We Do
The Northern Health Foundation provides and manages the process for donations and philanthropic support to be allocated to: teaching, training and research; education; capital works; and the purchase of medical equipment within Northern Health. The Foundation undertakes a range of fundraising activities including regular giving programs; events; partnerships with corporate organisations and trusts and foundations; plus bequests and in memory donations.
Where We Work
The Northern Health Foundation works across the entire northern community which encompasses the diverse and rapidly expanding local government areas of Banyule, Darebin, Hume, Nillumbik, Whittlesea and Moreland. The Foundation actively supports the work of Northern Health’s five operating campuses:
- The Northern Hospital, Epping
- Broadmeadows Health Services
- Bundoora Extended Care Centre
- Panch Health Service
- Craigieburn Health Service.
Who We Help
Northern Health is one of Victoria’s busiest health services and the key provider of health care to residents living in Melbourne’s north, which is one of the fastest growing communities in Australia. The northern growth corridor population will grow by 59 per cent between 2016 and 2031. The northern community is extremely diverse and dynamic. The region contains residents originating from over 126 countries by birth and speak over 120 different languages.
The Northern Health Foundation works tirelessly to ensure Northern Health continue to provide outstanding health care to meet the varied needs of the northern community.
