Consumer & Community Participation
Part of Northern Health’s charter is to acknowledge and be responsive to the communities it serves.
This means being part of the community, and establishing and strengthening links with other community organisations. This is done by inviting consumers to attend the Northern Health Open Access Board Meeting each year, facilitating edcuational seminars, publishing quarterly community newsletters and ensuring Northern Health's message is heard widely.
Consumers are valued in providing a unique perspective through their personal experience and what is import to them.
