The Northern Centre for Health Education and Research includes a purpose built clinical simulation centre used to support the education of staff and students across all clinical disciplines. This is a joint facility shared with the University of Melbourne and La Trobe University.

The simulation centre offers two high fidelity laboratories for high acuity scenarios, a simulated ward, a simulated consulting room and a clinical skills lab.

The Simulation Centre is located on Level 1 of the NCHER Building at the Northern Hospital site.
