The Victorian Virtual Emergency Department is open all day, every day.
Welcome to the Victorian Virtual Emergency Department (VVED), a public health service to treat non life-threatening emergencies.
The Victorian Virtual Emergency Department allows you to access care for non life-threatening emergencies, from designated areas in Victoria.
Current designated ares are:
- Metro: Whittlesea, Darebin, Moreland, Banyule, Nilumbuk, Hume
- Regional: Murrindindi, Mitchell, Strathbogie, Campaspe, Greater Shepparton, Moira, Benalla,Wangaratta, Indigo, Wodonga
If you have COVID-19, you can connect to VVED from anywhere in Victoria.
Please note: We do not prescribe opioids, benzodiazepines, Methadone or Buprenorphine.
The VVED allows patients to talk to our emergency nurses and doctors from their home or work. If you have a non life-threatening emergency, you can connect virtually with our staff, who will be able to provide medical advice. This service allows you to receive emergency advice in your home, and keep your care closer to home.
