| Volunteers provide transport for clients who live at home and require transport to required medical appointments.
A Settling In Service is provided by volunteers to escort a patient home following a stay at Broadmeadows Health Service. The volunteers provide the type of assistance normally provided by a family member, friend or neighbour ie: purchasing essentials such as bread / milk, perhaps preparing a light meal and ensuring heating and cooling has been turned on.
The service is for people of any age who may benefit by the assistance of a volunteer available to take them home.
They must be independent and agree to accept the service. |
