Special Care Nursery

The Northern Hospital’s Special Care Nursery is a 16 cot, high dependency level 2 unit, that caters for babies requiring extra care after birth, including sick and premature babies transferred from other hospitals.

The nursery is equipped with the latest facilities and equipment to better care for babies and is constantly monitored by experienced midwives and neonatal nurses.

Every baby admitted to the Special Care Nursery is treated with specialised care and sensitivity to meet their needs.
