Northern Health Acute Care Graduate Nurse Program - Clinical Rotations

There are three options available to graduates taking part in the Northern Health Acute Care GNP.  These clinical rotations are designed to meet the individual requirements of the graduates.

OPTIONS:
Option 1    Two Medical and one Surgical rotation
Option 2    Two Surgical and one Medical rotation
Option 3    One Medical, one Surgical and one Elective rotation

Electives rotations are offered in the following areas:
- Continuing Care: 16 weeks (Broadmeadows Health  Service)
- Continuing Care: 16 weeks (Bundoora Extended Care Centre)
- Paediatrics: 10 weeks
- Day Surgery: 10 weeks
- Peri-operative: 4 weeks 
- Women’s Health: 10 weeks (Gynaecology) 
- Critical Care: 8 weeks
- Emergency: 12 weeks
- Short Stay Unit: 12 weeks
