Gynaecology

Northern Health provides gynaecological services at The Northern Hospital, Broadmeadows Health Service, Craigieburn Health Service and Panch Health Service.

The Northern Hospital’s Obstetric/Gynaecology Unit occupies 28 beds and is the acute area of admission before being discharged to an outpatient’s service. The Gynaecology service provides quality care for patients pre and post operatively for all procedures.

Broadmeadows Health Service houses a Day Procedure Unit where the procedural types vary from general surgery, urology, to IVF and gynaecological procedures.

Gynaecological procedures are also offered at Craigieburn Health Service. Craigieburn clinics provide assessment, diagnosis and management of gynaecological conditions. Services provided include special gynaecologists, contraceptive advice and continence management. Referrals to The Northern Hospital are provided should surgery be required.

Panch Health Services also houses a gynaecology unit for local patients.
