Education at The Northern Hospital 

Education is provided on a formal and informal basis including:

• 1/2 hour unit based inservice sessions
• Full day themed study days
• 6 - 8 week short courses
• 12 month Graduate Nurse Program
• 12 month Post graduate studies in Emergency, Critical Care or Peri-operative Nursing

Attendance at Inservice, Study Days or Short Courses is free of charge to all Northern Health staff.

The Northern Hospital Education Centre is located to the left of the Ambulatory Care entrance.  We have a 97 seat lecture theatre, 1 large, 2 medium and 1 small conference room, we also utilise the unit based tutorial rooms.  We have facility for fixed or portable data projection.
