Northern Health Continuing Care Graduate Nurse Program Details

 

As a Graduate Nurse with Northern Health Continuing Care you receive experience in fields of nursing that are rapidly expanding - whilst developing rewarding and complex skills that will always be in demand.

 

Northern Health offers Graduate Nurse two at the beginning of each year.

  • The GNP last for 54 weeks
  • There is an option for full time or part time work (a total of eight shifts a fortnight)
  • The program commences with comprehensive orientation, followed by supernumerary clinical shifts
  • There are a variety of clinical rotations available to you during Graduate Year
  • You are entitled to paid graduate study days
  • Continued clinical education is provided via learning packages and graduate nurse in-services.
  • Supported by qualified Clinical Nurse Educators
  • Mentoring by trained preceptors

POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR 2009

Northern Health Continuing Care has 16 graduate positions available in 2009.  These positions will commence in January / February '09.  The program is offered full time however it is possible to negotiate a part time position.
