Northern Health Acute Care Graduate Nurse Program - Clinical Rotations

There are three options available to graduates taking part in the Northern Health Acute Care GNP.  These clinical rotations are designed to meet the individual requirements of the graduates.

OPTIONS:
Option 1    Two Medical and one Surgical rotation
Option 2    Two Surgical and one Medical rotation
Option 3    One Medical, one Surgical and one Elective rotation

Electives rotations are offered in the following areas:
- Continuing Care 16 weeks - Broadmeadows Health  Service         
- Continuing Care 16 weeks - Bundoora Extended Care Centre
- Paediatrics 10 weeks
- Day Surgery 10 weeks
- Peri-operative 4 weeks 
- Women’s Health (Gynaecology) 10 weeks
- Critical Care 8 weeks
- Emergency 12 weeks
- Short Stay 12 weeks
