The Northern Hospital's Dinner & Auction

With the support of sponsors, donors and guests, The Northern Hospital holds an annual fundraising dinner and auction night each June. The 2006 event attracted almost 500 guests and again topped the magic $100,000 mark in funds raised. The popularity of this event has grown so much that tickets routinely sell out well in advance, attracting more than three times the number of people who attended the first such night only six years ago.

The dinner represents a great chance for local people and businesses to make a real difference to their community, in a convivial atmosphere at the Plenty Ranges Arts & Convention Centre. Our guests tell us the night is also invaluable as a business networking opportunity!

This year, the proceeds from this spectacular night of fun, food and fabulous music went towards the purchase of vital eye surgery equipment.

VicUrban  & Orbit Homes House & Land Auction 

In late 2008, VicUrban (formerly the Urban & Regional Land Corporation) and Orbit Homes will combine for the fourth time to donate a magnificent house & land package to be publicly auctioned.  All proceeds from the winning bid will be donated to Northern Health, to directly benefit the care of our patients.

The property is currently under construction in the new Aurora estate, just north of The Northern Hospital at Epping.

The first three auctions, for properties in the Roxburgh Park estate, raised more than $1.1 million for The Northern Hospital.

The Merri Plains District Scout Association have continued their long standing support of The Northern Hospital through the Carols by Candlelight held at the Edwards Lake Park in Reservoir.
