The Old Blokes Shed caters for inpatients and those attending the Day Activities Centre.
It provides a social place to pursue meaningful activity.
Volunteers lead and assist with activities - making wood work items, painting, having a chat and a cuppa. The sessions are not structured in any particular way.
The clients work with the volunteers in deciding what they would like to do.
This volunteer position is suitable for those with an interest and knowledge in woodwork and other similar hobbies. |
