Research in the Surgical Services

The Surgical Units at Northern Health are committed to improving our services, the health of the community and surgical outcomes for patients. The development of the new Academic and Research precinct and the growth of Northern Health will support a natural increase in the role and quality of surgical research.

Surgical Research Meetings are held monthly and are an opportunity for all interested individuals to meet with others who are available to listen to proposals, successes or difficulties encountered and offer advice or practical suggestions.

Projects are available for those who may desire a project but do not know what they might do. Input is welcomed from all members of Northern Health staff and the community.
