The Northern Clinical Research Centre (NCRC) is a multidisciplinary, clinical research unit, which examines interventions that may improve patient care and reduce hospital utilisation, particularly for those with chronic disease, and complex needs.
The NCRC aims to integrate clinical research methodology into the evaluation of current practice and the development of new programs of care, in order to inform service delivery within Northern Health and beyond.
The NCRC is fortunate to have a diverse range of staffing expertise to assist with our activities. The team includes specialist physicians, nurses, allied health professionals and scientists.
The NCRC also supports post-graduate students in physiotherapy, nursing and medicine. Through these students the NCRC maintains active collaborations with the University of Melbourne, La Trobe University and Monash University.
